S Jean Lee

S. Jean Lee is a life-long student of dance. Her movement background includes ballet, modern, contemporary, improvisation, hip hop, and yoga along with academic engagement in dance history, choreography, and criticism. Fascinated by interdisciplinary art making, she is inspired by the magic made during open-minded collaboration and intellectually grounded creative exploration. Jean is a first-generation Korean-American, mother, and “people-reader” as well as a passionate lover of the arts.
