Special Ann Arbor performance of ‘That We Walk’ at AADL Downtown Library

Performance | IS/LAND Presents, That We Walk
Friday February 22, 2019: 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Ann Arbor Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room

Special performance! On February 22, 2019, IS/LAND bring their acclaimed performance “IS/LAND: THAT WE WALK” for their Michigan premiere at the Downtown Branch of the Ann Arbor District Library. “That We Walk” explores how each movement, each step builds the unspoken story of the land that we call home. Islands, while autonomous and isolated by water, also bare the marks of woven narratives, reconciliation, and stories of home, longing, and humanity.

This performance of “That We Walk” showcases the Library Tools used for lighting and sound that were integral to the Chicago performance’s success.

Opening the performance will be a special prose reading from new IS/LAND member writer and poet Frances Kai-Hwa Wang!
